Our volunteers are the heart of our community, offering their time, skills, and dedication to uplift our children and support our programs. From teaching and mentoring to assisting in daily operations, their selfless efforts create ripples of positive change. Through their grace and generosity, they embody the spirit of service, empowering us to build a brighter future together.
An American, Daniel has been serving our children in various capacities since 2016 when he was a young teen. He often considers our children more his friends than students. Daniel was instrumental in setting up our remote learning system during the emergency COVID lock-down. Now in university, Daniel continues to expand our daily online learning program and leads our team of international remote teachers.
"I deeply admire the strength and unity of the students. Seeing so many of the kids grow up academically and personally has truly been a blessing."
Michael Cameron is a recent graduate of Regis High School. As a Catholic, he believes that everyone deserves an education regardless of financial or societal status. He enjoys playing soccer, cooking, and teaching. He began volunteering for Zotung in July 2022, and formerly served as the lead coordinator for Regis volunteers, where he helped expand to number of volunteers to over 35.
"Every week, I see the students improve their academic skills, and I see the students open up socially as they continually participate more often. It has been a joy to watch."
A partner in a law practice, Adeline also serves as a professional deputy for the mentally incapacitated and as a mediator. With the support colleagues and clients, she has been able to carve out time to teach weekly since 2020.

Richard was introduced by a fellow volunteer, Mabel, and found the first year gratifying teaching 2 youths - Francis and Joseph. In his second year, Richard tutored both P1 and P2.

Since 2020, Regis High School students have been vital to our digital syllabus by providing online English Communication classes, enriching learning and bridging gaps. Meet some of our 35 amazing volunteers!
Luca Dalven is a senior at Regis High School. He has been volunteering for two years now. He believes strongly in Zotung’s social and religious mission, and is enthusiastic to keep giving back to this amazing community.

Jose Galindo is a senior at Regis High School. Jose enjoys playing piano, reading and listening to music. He also plays ultimate frisbee for Regis.

David Solano is a senior at Regis High School. David enjoys acting and singing in musicals, public speaking, and videography. In class, he creates an engaging, rewarding experience for his students so that they grow in their love for learning.

Evan McElfresh is a senior at Regis High School with a firm belief in the power of a Catholic education. He enjoys reading, spending time with his friends, and walking around New York City.

Peter Grande is a senior at Regis High School. He began volunteering with Zotung because he loved the opportunity to form connections with students on the other side of the globe. He enjoys reading, debate, hiking, and playing the piano.

Leo Damato is a senior at Regis High School. He began volunteering in the fall of 2022 and has thoroughly enjoyed sharing valuable lessons with his students. In his free time, Leo likes to watch and play soccer, bike, and read.

Leo Lee is a senior at Regis High School. He started as an online volunteer in December of 2022. Leo enjoys playing tennis, the French Horn, and watching movies in his free time.

Leo DeCock is a junior at Regis High School. He has been volunteering with Zotung since December of 2022 to continue spreading the gift of an education to all. He enjoys reading and playing soccer.
