ZOTUNG "OUTSCHOOL OUTREACH" ZOOM PROGRAM
In the spirit of sharing our blessings and inspired by the many online programs around the world, we have launched our very own
"Outschool Outreach" initiative. This program aims to help other refugee learning centres gain access to online learning opportunities.
How Does It Work?
Our dedicated ZRCLC volunteers develop short educational modules, ranging from 2 to 4 classes per module, on subjects that are
relevant to refugee children in Malaysia.
We then invite refugee children registered in UNHCR learning centres to join these classes via ZOOM—for FREE!
A trained educator from the National Institute of Education (NIE) Singapore, Sandra has been teaching primary school children for 25 years. Her passion for singing and sparking curiosity in young minds led her to create this program, where children explore nature and learn to read—through song!
SING PING PHONICS
Children naturally love to sing, clap, and move. This program helps them strengthen their phonics skills in a fun and engaging way—without feeling like they’re studying! Through songs and movement, they develop essential decoding skills that lay the foundation for independent reading.
