Our students are thrilled for our Annual Caroling Fundraiser!
This year, we hope to raise enough to sponsor a full two-year scholarship at Montfort Youth Centre (MYC) in Melaka; giving one Malaysian child the opportunity to receive life-changing education, mentorship, and a fresh start in life.
It costs RM36,000 to place a child in MYC’s two-year program, covering full board, meals, materials, and dedicated teachers.
You can support our children's effort by donating via our GoFundMe link below,
or by inviting us to sing! No donation is too small... every cent will help us achieve our goal!
We have set aside 20 and 21 December 2025 to travel around Kuala Lumpur to sing. Invite us to your Christmas party, be it at home, at the office, or even at your school.
Let us bring the Christmas cheer and spirit to you!
If these dates match your plans and you would like us to come, simply book a slot with us!

This June, our graduate Maung Maung was given the opportunity to enroll at Montfort Youth Centre Melaka (MYC). Once quiet and uncertain, he grew up as a refugee child with little guidance and no clear understanding of the opportunities ahead. He wanted to support his family, but he did not know where to begin.
After just three months at MYC, he returned home during the school holidays as a completely transformed young man. His English had improved remarkably, but the deepest change was in his confidence and clarity.
When asked what made the difference, he shared how he now sees many young people drifting aimlessly—absorbed in games and social media, without thinking about their future. In MYC’s phone-free environment, he learned to slow down, reflect, and focus on what truly matters.
What touched him most were his teachers. They did not simply teach; they nurtured him, guiding him to think deeply about his life, set goals, and plan for his future.
Each day at MYC is structured around purpose, and each night ends with something he never practiced before: daily reflection—a powerful exercise that helps him see his strengths, acknowledge his weaknesses, and plan how to grow the next day.
When his former teacher saw him again, he exclaimed,
“Is this the same Maung Maung I taught last year?”
This is the kind of transformation your support makes possible

Montfort Youth Centre Melaka (MYC) is a fully residential institution located in Ayer Salak, Melaka, operated by the Brothers of St. Gabriel. Established on the site of a former village school, MYC was launched in 2000 when the Brothers began a mission to assist under-privileged youths who otherwise had limited access to vocational training and a structured supportive environment.
MYC offers a two-year residential programme for youths aged approximately 16 to 19 years old, providing a blend of vocational skills training (such as motor mechanics, information technology, culinary arts and general maintenance) alongside character formation, counselling and community living.
The institution is founded on the conviction that those whom the world rejects still matter deeply—echoing the motto of its founding order: “Those whom the world reject, must move you the most.”
In its holistic approach, MYC not only prepares youth for gainful employment but also nurtures integrity, discipline, self-reflection and social responsibility. By living on-campus, following structured daily routines, and receiving both technical and life-skills education, students emerge equipped not just to enter the workforce, but to engage life with dignity, purpose and hope.

Since 2016, we have kept alive the tradition of Christmas caroling to raise funds for Malaysian beneficiaries. Many have asked why we return year after year. The answer is simple: this is our way of giving back to the country we now call home. It is a gesture of gratitude to the Malaysians who have supported our learning centre—financially, emotionally, and in countless unseen ways. Though our homeland remains in conflict, Malaysia has welcomed us and become a place of refuge; caroling is one small way we honour that kindness. Over the years, our efforts have supported Malaysian old folks’ homes, Orang Asli communities, and even a Malaysian orphanage.
But caroling is more than a fundraiser. It is an important lesson for our children. We want them to see that even in difficult circumstances, they still have the power to make a meaningful difference. They may not have material wealth, but they can offer their time, their presence, and their voices to bring joy and hope to others. Through this, they learn responsibility, gratitude, and compassion—values that shape them into individuals who live not for themselves, but for others
See how we did at our very first Christmas Caroling Fundraiser in 2016!

This Christmas, why not make Christmas meaningful by inviting family and friends to donate and support to a worthy cause?
SHARE our Go Fund Me Campaign to family and friends and help us promote our children's efforts in establishing a two-year full scholarship for a Malaysian youth in need.
Let your Christmas wish this year be the gift of opportunity and hope.
Sometimes I lay under the moon, And thank God I'm breathin'
Then I pray, "Don't take me soon, 'Cause I am here for a reason"
Sometimes in my tears I drown, But I never let it get me down
So when negativity surrounds, I know someday, it'll all turn around because
All my life, I've been waitin' for, I've been prayin' for, for the people to say
That we don't wanna fight no more, There'll be no more wars, and our children will play
One day (one day), one day (one day)
One day (oh-oh-oh)
It's not about win or lose, 'Cause we all lose when they feed on the souls of the innocent
Blood-drenched pavement, Keep on movin' though the waters stay ragin'
In this maze, you can lose your way, your way
It might drive you crazy
But don't let it faze you, no way, no way
Sometimes I lay under the moon, And thank God I'm breathin'
Then I pray, "Don't take me soon, 'Cause I am here for a reason"
Sometimes in my tears I drown, But I never let it get me down
So when negativity surrounds, I know someday, it'll all turn around because
All my life, I've been waitin' for, I've been prayin' for, for the people to say
That we don't wanna fight no more, There'll be no more wars, and our children will play
One day (one day), one day (one day)
One day (oh-oh-oh)
One day, this all will change, treat people the same
Stop with the violence, down with the hate
One day, we'll all be free and proud to be
Under the same sun, singin' songs of freedom like
Wah-yo (one day, one day), wah-yo, oh, oh (oh-oh-oh)
Wah-yo (one day, one day), wah-yo, oh, oh (oh-oh-oh)
All my life, I've been waitin' for, I've been prayin' for, for the people to say
That we don't wanna fight no more, There'll be no more wars, and our children will play
One day (one day), one day (one day)
One day (oh-oh-oh)
